Hi! Thank you for visiting my website. I thought I would create this post for you to get to know me a little better. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and have one older brother and a younger sister that I love to beat in euchre or any other game of their choice. I am a rising sophomore at the University of Notre Dame majoring in marketing and minoring in entrepreneurship & innovation and absolutely love it. I also figure skate for the Club at school, which is so much fun getting to continue my competitive skating in college. It's cliche, but there's truth behind the saying "the best place made by the best people." Go Irish! The relationships in my life are and always will be my number one priority. I really believe the meaning of life lies behind the connections we build with others. I'm a die hard friend, always have been. I believe this is why my value of loyalty and honesty in relationships translates so strongly to my professional life as well. I also thrive when presented with creative problem solving issues under pressure. Therefore, no matter the issue, expect me to figure out a solution to save us both in no time! What's the dream? CEO of my own philanthropic company. I can already picture myself walking into the boardroom with a smile on my face and mind churning with ideas. One of my personal goals is to unite others by building life changing connections. Understanding business on a global scale by majoring in Marketing and minoring in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, securing an international internship through Mendoza, and collaborating with professors and students will enhance my education. Learning how to form successful professional relationships while incorporating unique business customs will help unite cultures globally. I plan to study abroad and completely submerge into a culture, its language, and meet diverse people in global regions I have never been. In a world more focused on wifi connection rather than human relationships, I view this immersion as an opportunity to diversify culturally while understanding others' life stories. Throughout high school, I fostered my love for exploring other cultures with my intense passion to unite others. As founder and president of a new organization, the International Pen Pals Club, I established a partnership with a Ugandan orphanage. After one year, membership tripled to over 100+ students, which necessitated expanding and partnering with another school in Honduras. This dramatic increase is evidence that many individuals seek to expand culturally, making a difference in others’ lives by simply connecting. Building on this desire to make a difference, I started my own business, Kozies for Kids Inc. Featuring original designs of reusable insulated coffee sleeves, my product helped preserve our natural environment. Additionally, my company was formed with the philanthropic purpose of donating a portion of all profits to children's causes. We have raised $3,500, with all proceeds benefiting the Lliam Children's Ministry in Uganda. I’ve learned substantially from these endeavors, yet I recognize there is much more I will experience at Notre Dame and beyond. Mendoza will provide the information, tools, and connections to help me achieve my dreams. In my future, I envision working with or growing a business internationally, uniting cultures across the globe. I have had this website in mind for a while, but after tearing my ACL, I have plenty of time to invest in my services! It seemed like the perfect time. If you have any questions you would like to ask about me, feel free to comment below! P.S. there's the pup, the myth, the legend, Lindey in the flesh below. We're still trying to teach her that jumping on you is not the correct response to "no." Otherwise, we'll keep her. She's kind of cute as you can see.
